If you have the stock rom and you don't want to loose your waranty, then this is what you need:

-Download https://www.dropbox.com/s/vds2wxuduee4e5s/CWM.zip, https://www.dropbox.com/s/i9c0aqyiivc45pm/SU-Busybox-Installer.zip, and https://www.dropbox.com/s/034csi39s31y1o7/SU-Installer-signed.zip

-Enter recovery

-Apply update from sdcard, choose CWM.zip (This is the external card, and if you get errors, you should format it first)

-After CWM is installed, choose apply zip from sdcard, and install SU-Busybox + SU-Installer (in this order)

If you are familiar with MIUI ROM, then you might like this Mintberry edition.Comparing with other versions, this seems to be a little bit faster, but what makes it special from my point of view are the colors of this ROM. The display looks more vibrant and sharp.

This 2.3.4 release is a maintenance release that adds several bug fixes and patches to the Android 2.3 platform, without any API changes from Android 2.3.3. Additionally, Android 2.3.4 brings support for the Open Accessory API to mobile devices.

This new version introduces an exciting new feature, and also addresses some bugs. If you haven’t received 2.3.3 yet, 2.3.4 will introduce you to several new features such as Google Maps 5.1 with 3D, Voice Search 2.1.1 with Voice Actions and personalized voice search, and the latest version of Google Books.

Latest Gingerbread releases have serious issues regarding the battery's life. If the Android System is on top of battery usage just after display, try the following:

-in Manage Applications search for Software Update -> Press Clear data.
-For a more permanent solution, install Nitraly and uninstall Software update/Samsung applications
